
KYOCERA AVX (Fountain Inn, S.C.) has introduced its new DSCC 25007 Mini BME Stacks — miniature, high-capacitance (high-CV) stacked X7R capacitors that utilize base metal electrodes (BME) and are subjected to 100% Group A testing.
The DSCC 25007 Mini BME Stacks are designed to meet the increasing demand for compact, lightweight, high-reliability capacitors in military, aerospace, and space applications. These capacitors are engineered for use in systems exposed to extreme operating conditions and harsh environments where stability, size reduction, and performance are critical.
Features & Benefits:
- Two horizontally stacked X7R multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) in an EIA 2220 package that conserve board space while maintaining high-CV performance.
- Enable design engineers to downsize from larger components without sacrificing performance.
- Low ESR and impedance, high current handling, and enhanced shock and vibration resistance.
- Multiple lead frame options: standard two-foot J and L styles, paddle, and single bar foot J and L styles, all with tin/lead plating for improved vibration resistance.
- Operating temperature range: -55°C to +125°C.
- Available in 25V, 50V, and 100V ratings with capacitance values from 8.2µF to 47µF (±20% tolerance).
- Available packaging includes waffle pack, tape and reel, and two-chip configurations.
The DSCC 25007 Mini BME Stacks are manufactured in a DLA-approved, MIL-PRF-32535 qualified facility and are fully traceable. They are subjected to rigorous reliability testing, including 100% Group A testing or both Group A and B testing for high-demand T-level applications. These capacitors are suitable for use in satellites, missile systems, aircraft, and power supply filtering circuits.
