OSH Cut, an online metal manufacturer, announced that customers can now obtain instant manufacturability feedback, pricing and production for CNC Tube Bending, with no minimum order.
In line with their tech-driven approach to manufacturing, OSH Cut simultaneously released a configuration tool that allows users to design bent-tube parts from scratch, if they don’t already have a 3D CAD model. Those part files can then be queued up for production immediately or downloaded as .STEP files for later use.
OSH Cut reported CNC Tube Bending as one of its top requested services in 2025. Other popular applications for custom cut and bent tubing include automotive framework, furniture making, robotics, railings and conduit. Based in Utah, the company serves customers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
OSH Cut, Inc
OSH Cut seeks to make high-mix metal fabrication accessible to anyone with a web browser. By leveraging high-end equipment and automating processes, such as first-principles design inspection, nesting, production workflows and inventory management, OSH Cut can consistently ingest and deliver thousands of unique SKUs each week.
"Up until we started this eight years ago, sourcing one-off metal parts was a huge challenge for most folks,” OSH Cut CEO Caleb Chamberlain said. "Waiting a week or more to get a quote, and then three to four more weeks to actually get your parts (if you were lucky enough to find a shop that accepts small orders) just wasn’t tenable.”
OSH Cut will initially limit tube bending services to steel (A513, 4130, and DOM 1020), stainless steel (304) and aluminum with varying diameters up to 1.5 inches and wall thicknesses up to 0.120 inches, depending on the material. However, Chamberlain confirmed that additional equipment/tooling to bend up to 3-inch diameter tubing will be in place this year. If customers need straight tube cutting service, the company can cut parts up to 10 inches in outer diameter.
