FIAT Topolino continues to win over customers around the world, bringing its Italian spirit to the U.S., where demand has exceeded expectations and many dealers have already sold out of their initial 2026 model-year allocations.
To celebrate this latest chapter in Topolino’s international journey, FIAT chose the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, to unveil an exclusive Topolino created in collaboration with renowned Italian yacht maker Sanlorenzo.
FIAT and Sanlorenzo: two expressions of Italian creativity
Unveiled aboard a Sanlorenzo SX100 yacht, the special one-off Topolino features an exclusive interior inspired by Sanlorenzo’s distinctive design language, combining natural materials, premium textiles and bespoke finishes.
The seats, dashboard and sunroof reflect the refined atmosphere of Sanlorenzo yachts, while customized seat belts, genuine leather accents and natural nautical-grade wood flooring take inspiration from the signature teak decks of the Italian shipyard’s vessels.
The result is a unique interpretation of Topolino, bringing elements of Italian yacht design into the world of micromobility and highlighting the creative possibilities of a vehicle that has made simplicity and design its defining characteristics.
Topolino wins over American customers
Topolino’s arrival in the U.S. marks another important milestone in its international journey, introducing American customers to a different way of experiencing everyday mobility, inspired by the Italian Dolce Vita.
The enthusiastic response from American customers has exceeded expectations, with many FIAT dealers already selling out of their initial allocations.
Building on this momentum, FIAT has announced an expanded 2027 Topolino line-up for the U.S. market, introducing two new colors, Corallo Orange and Luna Greige, a new full-color digital instrument cluster and the new Topolino Open Air, featuring a retractable soft-top roof.
A success story that began in Europe and continues around the world
Topolino’s success is particularly significant in Italy, where Topolino achieved a 42.2% share of the light electric quadricycle market in the first eight months of 2026.
Further recognition has come through international awards, including TIME naming FIAT Topolino one of its Best Inventions of 2026 in the Design category. In the United States, Topolino has also received the 2027 Neighborhood Green Car of the Year award from Green Car Journal, while the Fiat 500e was named 2027 Urban Green Car of the Year.
