Chigee Launches Sr 1 Automotive Grade 77 G Hz Radar Built For Motorcycles 2
Chigee

Chigee (Shenzhen, China) introduced the SR-1 millimeter-wave radar system for motorcycle rider assistance and safety. The SR-1 is designed for car-grade radar safety and multi-scenario object tracking and can be used on almost any standard motorcycle make and model.

The SR-1 millimeter-wave radar system provides a continuous rear and side-view blind-spot monitoring solution for motorcycles moving through traffic using an automotive-grade 77GHz sensor standard.

Features:

  • Operates on 77GHz frequency to deliver millimeter-level accuracy when measuring the distance and relative speed of approaching vehicles while ignoring stationary roadside interference
  • Utilizes specialized 2Tx/4Rx antenna configuration that sweeps wide 110-degree field behind motorcycle with tracking range extending up to 70 meters
  • Runs four independent warning algorithms simultaneously: blind spot detection, lane change assist, active overtaking alert and rear collision warning, with fully adjustable sensitivity
  • Integrates high-brightness light directly into radar module that flashes automatically when rear vehicle closes too quickly
  • Engineered to maintain precise tracking capabilities through severe environmental conditions, including heavy rain, thick fog, dust and total darkness
