Chevrolet used the Corvette ZR1X to "blow out" 250 birthday candles at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a tribute to America's semi quincentennial.
The hypercar was assembled in Bowling Green, Kentucky, using globally sourced parts. Corvette Senior Controls and Software Engineer Cody Bulkley sat behind the wheel.
A Corvette ZR1X with a stars-and-stripes design served as the pace car for the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500.
