
Automotive parts manufacturer Solero Technologies plans to expand its operations in Water Valley, Mississippi. The company expects the $14 million project to create 86 jobs.
Solero Technologies provides actuator and solenoid valve solutions for the automotive industry and other industrial sectors. The expansion will add 14 new manufacturing lines at the facility and make upgrades to electrical systems, information technology infrastructure, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, roofing and flooring.
The Mississippi Development Authority will provide assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive (MFLEX) program. The Yalobusha County Economic Development District will supporting the project as well.
“Solero’s vision is to become a top three global leader in mobility controls technology,” CEO Donald James said. “As we work to grow the company into a more than $1 billion enterprise, continued investment in our Water Valley, Mississippi, facility will be essential to advancing our growth strategy and supporting Solero’s future product development transformation in global mobility.”
Solero’s Water Valley facility has been a part of the local manufacturing community since 1972 and has grown to become the company’s largest production operation globally.
