English manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles recalled about 1,700 of its closed course competition motorcycles, citing a pair of crash hazards. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the engine rocker arm can seize or stick and the exhaust valves can remain open or break.
The recall affects 2025 and 2026 TF450 models with a Jet Black/Pure White color scheme and VINs ranging from CD4981 to CP1597. The company manufactured the motorcycles in Thailand and imported them through Triumph Motorcycles America in Atlanta.
The CPSC reported 12 instances of a seized or sticking exhaust rocker shaft or damage to the exhaust valves, including one injury involving a broken bone. The agency added that consumers should stop using the motorcycles immediately and contact Triumph for a free repair.
