Schurter Inc. (Santa Rosa, CA) announced the new PPTC series, which includes PFTA, PFTB, PFTC and PFTL. The series provides resettable overcurrent and overtemperature protection for modern electronic applications.
In the event of a fault, the polymer PTC device automatically increases resistance to effectively protect systems against overloads and short circuits, without replacing fuses.
Typical applications include energy storage systems, power supplies, industrial electronics, consumer electronics, automotive systems, wearables, SSDs and Li-ion batteries.
Features:
Space-saving designs
High integration density
Radial leaded and SMD versions
