Stackpole Electronics (Raleigh, NC) introduced new 0.5 mΩ and 20 mΩ resistance values for its CSSU Series for high-power electronics and current sensing applications. The CSSU Series is designed for high power density, low power dissipation and reduced measurement losses in high-current circuits and can be used in battery management systems, automotive electronics, motor drives, industrial power supplies, DC-DC converters and renewable energy equipment.
The CSSU Series provides a high-power metal alloy current sensing solution for high-current power control systems using the AEC-Q200 standard.
Features:
- Delivers 5 W power rating in compact 2512 footprint
- Reduces power dissipation and minimizes measurement losses in high-current architectures
- Broadens resistance range for applications requiring higher current sensing voltages or lower operating currents
- Combines low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) with long-term performance stability in demanding environments
- Utilizes durable metal alloy element designed specifically for rigorous power control and battery-powered applications
