CDTL
CDTL (Hangzhou City, China) introduced commercial vehicle technologies for heavy-duty trucks, city buses and next-generation transit systems. The product portfolio is designed for distributed electric driving, electromechanical brake-by-wire operation, independent torque management, 100% low-floor transit architecture and overall vehicle weight and energy reduction.
Features:
- EA5000NP Distributed E-Drive Axle: Equipped with two oil-cooled motors, two-speed transmission and independent left and right-wheel drive; delivers up to 660 kW rated / 900 kW peak power at 800 V with electronic differential and traction control
- EA4800N Four-Speed Multi-Speed Axle: Delivers ~48,000 N•m maximum wheel-end torque per axle (~100,000 N•m in a 6×4 dual-axle setup)
- EA2100N Low-Floor Portal Axle: Features low-floor commercial portal design deployed across European bus operations
- EA1100K Independent-Suspension Drive System: Integrates drive, steering and independent suspension for 100% low-floor public transport, enabling all-wheel steering and bidirectional vehicle operation
- Electromechanical Braking (EMB) System: Reduces vehicle weight by over 100 kg, shortens braking distance by approximately 10% and cuts braking-system energy consumption by up to 85.4%.
